Celebrate Chinese New Year in Style
In this Chinese Cooking class you will learn to make a range of Chinese food which is delicious and tangy. To celebrate the Chinese New year in style we will be cooking from wide range of recipes.Chinese dishes are delicious and and range from quick and fresh stir fries, tofu and noodles that take minutes to cook. Food ranges from culinary tradition to enticing spices and tangy taste combinations, providing something for everyone to enjoy. Chinese food is versatile and has irresistible flavours with mouth watering dishes. We will be cooking vegetables in a traditional Chinese Wok with the aim to retain maximum flavour and texture. Chinese food is usually cooked in a Wok which means we use very little oil, lots of vegetables and add little protein too.
We will be cooking with typical Chinese ingredients like baby corn, tofu, ginger, chillies, lemon grass, peppers and bean sprouts to give us the flavour and texture.
To celebrate the Chinese New year in style we will cooking some of the following dishes:
- Hot and Sour Soup
- Yuk Sung
- Spicy Green papaya
- 5 Spice Powder
- Fried Aubergine Bean Sauce
- Spicy Noodles
This class is for anyone who is passionate about cooking and loves to create fast but nutritious food. Class is suitable for beginners and advanced food lovers.
