Aloo Sabji (Potato Curry)

Aloo Sabji or Potato Curry is  easy to make, favourite with kids and elderly.

Aloo Sabji is sold very widely in readymade meal sections in Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Tesco and Asda etc super markets. It’s very quick and easy to make whether you are going to make it from scratch or use the frozen readymade no peel no fuss potato cubes. This is one my favourite curry and so maybe it should be with everybody? This dish is suitable for packed lunch or picnics. Preparation 30 -40 minutes if cooking from
Serves 2-4
Ingredients 4 medium boiled potatoes
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 green chillies
2 tsp of red chilli powder
4-5 tablespoon oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp Sugar (optional)
Juice of one lemon
Coriander leaves for decoration
Method Step 1: Boil the potatoes with the skin, peel and cut potatoes in cube.
Step 2: Heat oil add cumin seeds and when seeds splutter add boiled potatoes.
Step 3: Add rest of the spices and heat for few minutes on low flame till all the spices get absorbed.
Serve hot.
