Spicy Ginger Snack

Add Spicy Ginger to make Healthy Snack

Have you tried adding ginger to your healthy snacks to give you that slow energy release?

I recently went to the Food and Drink Trade show at Three Counties Showground in Malvern  Worcestershire. I met various traders exhibiting their unique products. I was impressed with the Go Nutz www.go-nutz.co.uk  who produce  gluten free healthy energy snack balls.  I was also impressed that this product had no refined sugar making it a nutritious and great tasting snack. They produce 8 different range currently:

  • Pecan Gingerbread
  • Coffee walnut
  • Orange Cocoa
  • Peppy Peanut
  • Spicy Ginger
  • Exotic Mango
  • Aromatic Cardamom
  • Crunchy Sea salt

I tried few flavours but my favourite was “Spicy Ginger” as I love ginger as a hot fragrant spice. These energy balls were tasty, rich full of flavour perfect for those days when you want that extra energy to keep you going! They also help to release slow energy through out the day. Of course you have to taste them to find the goodness. For more information contact info@go-nutz.co.uk

Ginger Benefits

Ginger benefits

Ginger commonly  helps to treat various types of “stomach problems” has the health benefit of relieving stomach upset, gas, irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, motion sickness and loss of appetite. Ginger can be eaten fresh or dried powder, but I always prefer it fresh as most of the fragrance flavour comes from its most active compound Gingerol.

Ginger is often used as a seasoning in many Asian recipes and is common ingredients in Indian, Chines or Thai cuisine. So when you come to Sheela’s Kitchen for a cooking experience whether you want to learn Indian, Chinese, Thai or Fusion food ginger is one of the main ingredients always used in all the recipes I teach.
