How to make a Chilli Paneer step to step guide
In my last blog I taught you how to make Paneer. I am going to take you through a process on how to make Chilli Paneer. Follow my step by step guide and you should be able to make this recipe in 20 minutes. Chilli Paneer is favorite with my kids and its a great party food too. Its served in restaurants usually as a starter, its healthy, easy and very simple to make. If you like it spicy you can always add some extra chilli powder or chilli sauce for adults.
So here are my 9 easy steps to make a very healthy chilli paneer. I hope you will enjoy it too and give me some feed back.
Step 1 Heat 2 tablespoon of oil up in a non stick pan.
Step 2 Chop the Paneer into cubes about 500 grams and add it to the heated oil.
Step 3 Cook the Paneer till golden brown and keep them to one side.
Step 4 Add 2 chopped onions and cook them till golden brown.
Step 5 Add the chopped red and orange peppers /capsicum to the onions.
Step 6 Add one tin 400 grams of chopped tomatoes. Or you can use fresh tomatoes.
Step 7 Add Spices: salt, red chilli powder, according to taste and 1 cube of vegetable stock.
Step 8 Add 1 teaspoon of soya sauce and let the Paneer cubes soak for few minutes in the soya sauce.
Note: Soya sauce is salty so add salt only if required.
Step 9 Mix all the Paneer and cook for dew minutes till its nice and warm. Enjoy!
